Hiring Veterans for Advanced Automation Careers

Devan Peters spent 20 years in the military before retiring. When he was searching for a civilian career, he wanted a profession that not only pays well, but also would pique his interests. He then stumbled on robotics programming after talking to a FANUC America representative through the Soldier for Life program, which helps veterans find jobs after leaving the military. When APT Manufacturing, a FANUC ASI integrator, brought Devan in for an interview, they immediately liked his work ethic as well as the skills he developed while both in the military and in advanced automation training.

Watch more about Devan’s story and how he is now helping APT tackle difficult industrial manufacturing projects as well as training junior controls engineers.
