Unpacking Efficiency: GNC’s Automated Depalletization Success

Faced with congestion in its Indianapolis, Ind. Distribution center, leading global health and wellness retailer GNC turned to automation to address operational inefficiencies. With up to 28,000 pieces of product arriving daily, the company turned to FANUC Authorized Integrator AWL to automate depalletization and streamline flow within the facility. Today, two FANUC robots—dubbed Astro and Blitz—do the heavy lifting while as many as eight employees have been repurposed to more fulfilling roles.

Radiator Maker Modernizes Operations to Meet Rising Demand

North America’s largest manufacturer of transformer radiators—Trantech Radiator Products—has been successfully using FANUC robots in their facility for nearly two decades. So, when it came time to modernize their operations further, they turned to FANUC Authorized System Integrator WeldBot for an automation solution that improved repeatability and product strength, and decreased repairs, all while increasing throughput by 30%.

FANUC-Controlled CNC Machine Helps Bridge Skills Gap

Van Buren Tech in Lawrence, MI, offers an Advanced Manufacturing class where high school students gain hands-on CNC training using the Levil Technology LMV-400 CNC machine with FANUC 0i-MF Plus controls. Students learn setup, programming, operation, and troubleshooting, preparing them for immediate workforce entry while bridging classroom learning with real-world industry experience.
