which was tedious, labor intensive, and ergonomically challenging.
To automate the process, Sydor purchased an OptiPro Revel, a turnkey robotic
beveling solution. This FANUC Cobot and Go system employs a FANUC CRX-10iA/L
collaborative robot, enabling each part to be beveled on both sides in one
uninterrupted cycle.
This automated solution has increased Sydor’s daily production throughput by
approximately 40 percent. The Revel can run unattended, freeing employees for
other tasks and increasing beveling time during off shifts. Additionally, the
system produces parts with consistent quality, reducing variability and
rework.
