Andrew Brown was working as a laborer and saw robots at his
workplace. He realized learning how to operate, program and
maintain robots would be an excellent way to further his
career and enrolled at Ivy Tech - Fort Wayne, Ind. in the
Advanced Automation and Robotics program. He received
hands-on training on FANUC robots that helped him land a job
as a plant electrician. Now, he is helping his current
employer invest in FANUC robots due to his experience and
knowledge of them.

Somebody is going to need to
troubleshoot that robot and
program it. You're always going
to need those people, but you
have to push yourself and go get
educated in order to do so.
