At Northern Kentucky Machine (NKM), a precision job shop serving everyone from food and beverage suppliers to large manufacturers, the challenges of chronic labor shortages and capacity limits were starting to hurt production. Instead of continuing the search for scarce skilled workers, NKM partnered with FANUC Authorized System Integrator Gosiger’s Automation Within Reach to bring robots onto the shop floor, freeing people from repetitive, labor intensive tasks and enabling longer unattended runs. The payoff has been clear: faster cycle times, smarter use of labor, and a real runway for growth.
Southern Stone Surfaces upgraded its production by replacing four older stone CNC routers with three Paladin slab cutting machines from Better Built Machines. Powered by FANUC technology, the new machines improved precision, reduced training and maintenance time, and increased throughput—allowing Southern Stone to expand its customer base and take on more work.
Faced with difficulty finding skilled labor, Steelway Building Systems turned to AGT Robotics, a FANUC Authorized System Integrator, to better automate its beam welding operations—and saw immediate results. By implementing AGT’s robotic weld system, featuring dual FANUC Arc Mate robots, Steelway increased its welding capacity, streamlined four-sided welds on beams up to 60-feet long, and freed up welders for higher value tasks.
