FANUC Setup, Programming & Machining
COURSE # TRCOLP-432 - 30 hours
This course teaches a full range of skills necessary to produce parts on a CNC machining center: verifying the workholding equipment is ready, setting the work coordinate and tool off sets, calculating feeds and speeds, writing the part program, machining the part and then optimizing the program for the shortest cycle time.
Topics covered in this course include:

Navigation and control features

Positioning and cutting commands

Work coordinates and Tool offset setup

Advanced G-Codes, canned cycles, and utilization

Creation of the multiple processes needed to complete a part from setup to production.
Prerequisites:
Successful completion of the Fanuc Usage and Operations course.
Estimated Time for Completing the Course:
We estimate that students will average approximately 30 hours to complete this course, including time to study the materials, to take the tests, and to do the exercises. Actual time will vary, of course, based upon the student's prior experience and eLearning aptitude.
Requirements:
Internet connection and a PC with a second screen. Second screen is recommended.
