Story
TEMCO Tool had an existing ERP system, which required them to manually input their machine tool data. The company wanted more real-time and accurate production data to inform purchasing decisions as well as to enable them to make aggressive bids on new orders.
After just a few months of installing MT-LINKi, production throughputs have nearly doubled. In one instance, a new ROBOCUT was discovered to have longer cycle times than an older machine through the MT-LINKi data; the optimized machine’s performance has increased by 200 percent. Moreover, operators are more engaged with their machines through easy access to the MT-LINKi production data as seen on monitors located around the shop. The company is now able to make data-driven decisions with the insights provided by MT-LINKi, enabling them to win more business as well as produce more by optimizing their machining for maximum profitability.
Before we had MT-Linki, we used to go around to each department and gather up all the hours that people spent. Now it's all automatic. It saves a lot of time, and the employees love it
