FANUC Demonstrates Latest Technologies at FABTECH

November 11, 2019

 Experience FANUC Welding Robots

FABTECH attendees will have the opportunity to see FANUC in three locations this year. We will showcase our latest robots, lasers, CNCs and ROBODRILL technologies designed for welding and cutting in booth B-27033.

    Demonstrations will include:
  • FANUC CR-15iA collaborative robot demonstrates arc welding without safety fences.
  • Robotic additive manufacturing using arc welding with a FANUC ServoTorch to build a finished part from a 3D model.
  • Interactive lead-through-teach with an ARC Mate 100iD robot equipped with our easy to use hand guidance feature.
  • Laser seam tracking using two ARC Mate 120iD robots.
  • Robotic laser welding with the FF3000i-A and two material handling robots.
  • Ultra-precise FANUC FF1000i-A fiber laser.
  • New hollow-arm R-2000iC/165 spot welding robot.
  • ROBODRILL α-DiB with the Quick and Simple Startup of Robotization (QSSR) feature providing an extremely easy way to connect FANUC robots and CNCs.

If you’re looking for a robotic painting solution, be sure to stop by booth B-10020 in the paint pavilion where the compact and powerful P-40iA paint robot, equipped with FANUC’s latest R-30iB Plus Mate controller will demonstrate painting a work piece using coordinated motion.

Also plan to see FANUC’s robotic and CNC demonstrations focused on education and workforce development in the Lakeside Center, booth D-45305.

In addition, be sure to attend the following presentations featuring our team members:
  • Full Digital Controlled Robotic Hybrid Laser and Arc System (Mon., 11/11, 10:00-11:30 a.m.) and Compact Remote Welding with Robotic Servo Motor Controlled Laser Beam Welding (Mon., 11/11, 12:00-1:30 pm) – Mike Sharpe, welding engineer
  • The Benefits of Using Multi-arm Robotic Applications (Wed., 11/13, 12:00-1:30 pm) – Terry Tupper, welding engineer
  • 21st Century Workforce Panel: Building Tomorrow’s Workforce (Thurs., 11/14, 11:00 am to noon) Dean Steadman, education program manager
