FANUC Demonstrates Latest Automation Solutions at Eastec 2023

by FANUC America | Apr 10, 2023
FANUC America will demonstrate its latest automation technologies at Eastec, May 16-18 in West Springfield, MA in booth #1250.

Rochester Hills, Mi – (April 6, 2023) – FANUC America, the leading supplier of CNCs, robotics and ROBOMACHINEs will demonstrate its latest automation technologies at Eastec, May 16-18 in West Springfield, MA in booth #1250.

FANUC’s demonstrations are designed to showcase the benefits of automation and give attendees an opportunity to discuss their production challenges with a FANUC automation specialist.

CRX Cobot Demonstrations

FANUC’s expanded series of CRX collaborative robots are extremely robust and can run for eight years without maintenance.  Easy-to-use interactive programming enables operators to teach points using hand guidance or a Tablet TP with drag and drop icons.

Machine Tending - A CRX-10iA/L with FANUC QSSR (Quick & Simple Start-up of Robotization) will demonstrate how easy it is to connect FANUC robots to FANUC CNCs.   QSSR simplifies the automation of machine tool load/unload applications using the CNC controller’s macro variable interface for quick connectivity, start-up and operation.  The CRX-10iA automatically tends a lathe equipped with a FANUC CNC 0i-F Plus.

Ease of Use - A CRX-5iA cobot, featuring a 5kg payload and 994mm reach will pick and place small parts.  Attendees can try the cobot’s intuitive hand guidance and easy-to-use Tablet TP programming.

New Desktop CNC Milling Machine for Education

FANUC’s new educational offering is a Bantam Tools Desktop Milling Machine equipped with a FANUC CNC controlling FANUC servo motors and drives. Perfect for any educational or workplace training setting, this real CNC milling machine actually cuts, but comes without the expense of a full CNC machine tool. Users will not only learn how to operate a CNC through hands-on training, but also experience the total machining process.

MT-LINKi

FANUC’s MT-LINKi is a machine tool monitoring solution that can monitor and manage data from one to two thousand machines. Operational and production data is monitored and collected using a PC and an Ethernet connection. A variety of data points are automatically collected, including alarm history, macro variables & signal history, servo/spindle motor currents & temperatures, battery & fan status, feed rate overrides and more.

FANUC ROBODRILL

FANUC’s ROBODRILL vertical machining center comes available in three sizes to accommodate a wide range of precision operations.  At Eastec, see the compact ROBODRILL Model α-D14SiB(5) featuring a small footprint and unrivaled quality and precision.  The compact ROBODRILL handles smaller parts for high-speed drilling, boring and tapping applications.
