The different types of collaborative operation and how they can, and will be achieved, as well as the RIA/ISO standards for collaborative operation are identified. As the collaborative functions are a part of Dual Check Safety, this course will cover those items specifically related to the collaborative robot, and others, that may be used in achieving a more advanced system. The instructor will also address DCS Safe I/O Connect, DCS Cartesian Position Checks, and DCS User Models.

Recommended safety procedures are integrated into all training exercises.

In addition to lab exercises, a pre-test and a post-test are used to measure mastery of objectives.
