CNC Guide 2

Simulate reality—develop, test, and optimize with precision.

CNC GUIDE 2 is not only a virtual CNC that gives you the option to accurately simulate part programs, but also replicates the mechanical characteristics of a real-world machine. By importing real machine data, such as the frequency response and friction models captured, the resulting simulation accurately reproduces a real mechanical system. Because CNC GUIDE 2 includes all the actual FANUC control algorithms, its output reflects the parameterization and tuning of a real CNC. For our machine tool builders, CNC GUIDE 2 can be used as a powerful development support tool to efficiently assist in the creation/debugging of screens and ladder programs.

CNC Guide 2 Intro

FANUC CNC GUIDE 2 simulates part programs and real machine mechanics using true control algorithms and imported machine data for accurate digital twin testing.

High Speed Simulation - CNC Guide 2

A fast, PC‑based CNC simulator that models real servo behavior, runs programs up to 20× faster, and checks cycle time, parameters, and surface quality.

Key Features

  • Fast and accurate PC-based CNC simulator
  • Fully reproduces CNC functions such as:
    • Servo acceleration and deceleration
    • Smoothing functions
    • Tool trajectories
  • Servo Model technology uses real-world operational data captured, including servo parameters and servo characteristics, to output accurate feedback information
  • High-speed simulation—up to 20 times faster than real-world process—checks and confirms:
    • Part program running times
