Mech-Mind 3D Vision Sensor iPC Interface

This solution enables a FANUC iPC to interface with four new iRVision Mech‑Mind sensor models, combining the proven strengths of Mech‑Mind sensing with advanced iPC‑enabled capabilities. Users gain all the benefits of Mech‑Mind’s high‑accuracy 3D point‑cloud generation while expanding functionality to include real‑time visual tracking, 3D model matching, automatic path generation, and AI box locating. Mech‑Mind sensors excel in applications with challenging part shapes—such as small parts relative to the bin or field of view, thin or overlapping parts, complex non‑uniform geometries, and parts with small but critical features—as well as difficult materials and finishes including semi‑transparent, dark, or reflective surfaces. The precise point‑cloud data allows automation systems to confidently locate, orient, and manipulate parts that would otherwise require manual intervention.
