Mech-Mind 3D Vision Sensor Robot Interface

This software option enables a FANUC robot to interface with four new iRVision Mech‑Mind sensor models designed for visually demanding applications. Mech‑Mind sensors excel with challenging part shapes such as small parts relative to the bin or field of view, thin or overlapping parts that are difficult to separate, complex geometries with non‑uniform surfaces, and small but critical features that must be detected reliably for successful picking or placement. They are also well suited for difficult materials and surface finishes, including semi‑transparent, dark, and reflective parts. With high‑accuracy point‑cloud data, automation systems can confidently locate, orient, and manipulate parts that would otherwise require manual intervention.
