Course Overview: The course covers setup and operations of Integrated Programmable Machine Control (PMC). It also includes a brief review of Robot Topics needed to interact with PMC.

Course Objectives:  Students successfully completing this course will be able to:
-Understand PMC function and purpose
-Be able to Program FAPT Ladder III for Robots
-Be able to load and run PMC programs
-Understand the interaction between PMC ladder logic and TPP / KAREL programming
-Be able to view status of PMC elements

Recommended safety procedures are integrated into all training exercises.  The course consists of lectures, demonstrations, and a series of lab exercises designed to reinforce what the student has learned.   In addition to lab exercises, a pretest and posttest are used to measure mastery of objectives.

Audience:  This course is intended for those who install, debug, and operate a PMC interface

Prerequisites:  Successful completion of an Operations & Programming course.
