Fanuc has upgraded to the iHMI system. iHMI or intelligent Human Machine Interface, is the new standard for everyday machining. Every function needed for running production is now on a single screen. Offsets, Work Coordinates, and writing the program no longer require the user to search for the correct screen.
The iHMI is heavily customizable. A Machine Tool Builder (MTB), may add screens using Fanuc Picture to change the experience for the user. Not all screens will be available on every machine. Please speak with the MTB for additional help on the custom screens.
MTB customization aside, this course is designed with the end user in mind. There are advanced features that will be covered in a later course. This course is centered around the user being able to set the machine up for production.
This course will cover the core screens that will be available to all users.
