Servo Sizer

*This software is ONLY available to qualifying Machine Tool Builders

This free software lets you easily select the right motors and amplifiers for your application. With FANUC’s catalog of 1600-some (and growing) motor models at your fingertips, by just entering your required axis specs and operating conditions, Servo Sizer will highlight the optimal motor and amplifier combo to best suit your needs. Servo Sizer supports traditional ball screw configurations as well as rack and pinion, rotary, conveyor belt, chain and sprocket, live tool and servo press applications. The entire FANUC motor range (framed servo and spindle motors, linear motors, and unframed direct-drive torque and spindle motors) is available in both 200- and 400-volt models and software updates are released monthly.

Surface Estimation Tool

Ensure the best surface quality before actual machining using digital twin manufacturing software FANUC’s Surface Estimation Tool replicates real-world surface finish results in digital simulations to accurately check not only the part shape, but also machining quality level. Prior to any real-world cutting, the software precisely estimates a part’s machined surface by using the position data of each axis then simulating the cutting to detect machining issues. Knowing this before cutting helps avoid wasting valuable time and materials that otherwise might be produced with marks or other surface defects.

Tool Path Optimizer

A better finish via a better toolpath created by this digital twin manufacturing software FANUC’s Tool Path Optimizer uses CAD data to adjust the toolpath in a machining program to create a higher quality finish and part produced. In traditional CAD/CAM workflows, the CAM converts freeform surfaces to small linear movements, which can cause dents and scratches in curved surfaces as well as inconsistent edges. Tool Path Optimizer automatically fixes these curved surfaces by shrinking the distances between command points to create a high-precision toolpath along the designed shape. Optimizing the command points results in better surface quality and parts.
