iRVision 3D Guidance

FANUC iRVision 3D Guidance is an integrated vision solution that enables FANUC robots to locate and guide to parts using 3D sensors connected directly to the robot controller. By identifying part position and orientation using CAD matching and a full suite of other processes, the robot can automatically adjust its motion to pick, place, or process parts without precise fixturing.
Because iRVision 3D Guidance is fully embedded in the FANUC controller, processing and robot motion are coordinated with no external PC. This simplifies system architecture and improves reliability.
iRVision 3D Guidance is commonly used in automation applications such as pick‑and‑place, bin picking, and de‑palletizing, where parts may be randomly oriented, semi‑structured, or distributed across a wide height range. It allows robots to accurately locate and handle parts even in unstructured or challenging environments.
