Force Sensor Setup & Operations

This course is intended for an operator, technician, engineer or programmer who must set up, teach, test, and modify parameter values and overall setup of a FANUC FS-Series Force Sensor.

Upon successful completion of this course, the student can identify how to setup and operate a FANUC FS-Series Force Sensor. More specifically:

• Identify the many force sensor uses/applications
• Understand how to install a force sensor
• Modify force control schedules
• Understand how to write a force control program
• Recognize what is necessary in executing contouring
• Identify how to execute successive force control instructions
• Recognize that which is required in performing force diagnostics

This course consists of content descriptions and examples, interactive modules, and lesson reviews designed to reinforce what the student has learned. A post-test is used to measure the student’s mastery of the objectives.
