PaintPRO

This 3-day (24 hour) course covers the tasks a programmer would need to program paint robots using the PaintPRO software package with Roboguide v9.

Prerequisites: Previous experience or training in a related field involving the application of paint materials using automation would be helpful to the student. However, this experience is not mandatory. Students must be able to log into the Academy URL while in class, to access learning materials.

Course Objectives: Students successfully completing this course will be able to:

• Create a Virtual WorkCell (Stop Station)
• Jog the Robots using the Virtual Teach Pendant & Teach Tool
• Create a robot on rail that moves around a fixed part
• Create a Wall Mount robot using Line Tracking
• Create a Rail Mount robot using Rail Tracking
• Add a Style
• Calibrating the Virtual & Real World WorkCells
• Create & Edit Programs
• Run the Jobs
• Validate Jobs or Processes

The course consists of lectures, chapter reviews, demonstrations and a series of lab exercises designed to reinforce what the student has learned. In addition to lab exercises, a pre-test and a post-test are used to measure mastery of objectives.

Dress Code: Appropriate business casual attire is required to attend any class at FANUC training facilities. No shorts, leggings, tank tops, or open-toe shoes are permitted.

Note: For training done at the customer's facility the customer is responsible to supply each student with computers that match the software's system requirements.
