FANUC’s SR-12iA/C SCARA robot demonstrates high-speed, hygienic cake slicing using advanced automation. Guided by 3DV iRVision, the robot identifies brownies on a moving conveyor, picks and places them into cutting fixtures, and uses an ultrasonic knife to slice each cake with precision. Finished cakes are indexed back onto the conveyor, ready for packaging. FANUC’s LR Mate/10-11A Food robot showcases high-speed case packing of frozen protein pouches using advanced vision and compact automation. The robot uses 3DV/400 iRVision to locate randomly oriented bags on a moving conveyor and places them into cases with a vacuum gripper.
