FANUC’s CRX-3iA is an ultra-lightweight collaborative robot designed for manufacturers who need fast, flexible automation. Weighing just 11 kg and offering a 692 mm reach, the CRX-3iA can be carried with one hand and installed in tight spaces, making it an ideal solution for shipbuilding, welding, assembly, and other light-duty applications.
The CRX-3iA's design makes it easy to relocate between narrow workspaces and adjust layouts effortlessly. The robot automatically detects its installation angle and can be combined with a magnetic base, allowing installation in any orientation and eliminating the need for bolt fastening. After relocation, operators can simply touch a wall with the torch wire, allowing the robot to automatically recognize its position and begin welding without re-teaching. Its 3 kg payload supports both a welding torch and welding sensor simultaneously, enabling automatic weld-point detection and path generation.
Like all cobots in the CRX series, the CRX-3iA is designed for simple operation, flexible deployment, and reliable performance, helping manufacturers overcome labor shortages and increase productivity with minimal training or downtime.
