The new FANUC SR‑9iA/R is a rack‑mounted SCARA robot designed for fast, efficient transport of small components such as solar cell modules. With a 9 kg payload and 620 mm reach, it mounts above the conveyor to maximize floor space and create compact production lines. The SR‑9iA/R delivers world‑class throughput, completing a 500 mm horizontal and 100 mm vertical cycle in just 0.7 seconds continuously. Its high‑rigidity design—with the second arm positioned below the first—reduces vertical-axis protrusion and minimizes hand vibration during high‑speed motion, ensuring stable, precise handling in demanding solar and electronics applications.
