2D iRVision R30iB & R30iB PLUS

This is a self-paced elearn that does not qualify as a prerequisite for advanced in-person classes.

This course is intended for an operator, technician, engineer or programmer who must set up, teach, test, and modify 2D iRVision applications and processes on an R-30iB Plus Robot Controller.

Upon successful completion of this course, the student can identify the components of a vision system, install vision hardware, develop a vision process, program the robot, and perform error recovery procedures. More specifically:

• View and/or change robot and computer parameters to facilitate access to the robot’s web page
• Set up a camera
• Perform an inspection vision process
• Understand basic vision concepts and lighting
• Master a robot using vision mastering
• Create a tool frame for the robot applicator
• Create the user frames necessary for use with the vision system
• Calibrate a camera
• Setup a 2D single-view vision process
• Program the robot to respond to vision results

This course consists of content descriptions and examples, interactive modules, and lesson reviews designed to reinforce what the student has learned. A post-test is used to measure the student’s mastery of the objectives.
