FANUC Powered Integrated and Safety PMC

Integrated PMC delivers powerful, built‑in sequence control within the FANUC robot controller, eliminating the need for separate PLC hardware while simplifying overall system architecture. Through intuitive ladder logic, step sequence, and function block programming, it enables precise coordination between robots, tools, and peripheral equipment for smooth, reliable operation. Multi‑path capability allows multiple sequence programs to run in parallel, providing high‑speed performance and scalability for complex automation cells. Integrated PMC also offers flexible memory configurations, structured programming, and extensive diagnostics to support system growth and long‑term maintainability. Tight integration with FANUC development tools such as LADDERIII and the teach pendant accelerates programming, testing, and troubleshooting. By combining logic control, I/O management, and optional safety functionality into a single, unified platform, Integrated PMC helps reduce engineering effort, shorten commissioning time, and maximize productivity, making it an ideal solution for modern, high‑performance robotic automation environments.

Unlock next‑level automation performance with FANUC’s Multi‑Path PMC option, built for complex, high‑throughput production environments. This powerful capability allows a single robot controller to run multiple independent sequence programs simultaneously, enabling true parallel control of processes, machines, or subsystems. Each PMC path operates with its own logic and memory, while secure shared interfaces allow coordinated data exchange when needed.

Multi‑Path PMC simplifies advanced automation by centralizing control, reducing external hardware, and supporting modular system design. Engineers can assign execution priority and time allocation per path, optimizing performance for critical operations. Programs are developed, edited, and backed up independently, making system expansion and long‑term maintenance faster and more flexible.

Ideal for OEMs, integrators, and manufacturers, Multi‑Path PMC delivers scalable, high‑speed, and future‑ready control for sophisticated robotic cells. It’s the smart solution for maximizing productivity, minimizing downtime, and adapting quickly to evolving automation demands.

Dual Check Safety (DCS) Safety PMC delivers programmable, certified safety logic that allows critical safety decisions and interlocks to be executed directly within the robot controller. By combining Safe I/O with ladder‑based PMC control, it enables advanced safety functions such as safety zoning, interlock management, and mode‑dependent logic without relying on external safety PLCs.

This integrated approach simplifies overall system architecture by centralizing safety control inside the robot controller, reducing hardware requirements, wiring complexity, and commissioning effort. Safety PMC also allows close coordination between robot motion and external safety devices, making it well suited for applications that require dynamic safety behavior or flexible cell configurations.

Designed for advanced and scalable automation systems, DCS Safety PMC delivers robust, centralized safety control while meeting international functional safety standards, supporting modern, high‑performance robotic safety solutions.
