ArcMate 120 or M-20iD Robot Mechanical Maintenance

This 2-day (16 hour) course covers tasks and procedures mechanical maintenance technicians and others need for repair and maintenance of the FANUC ArcMate 120/M-20iD.

Note: this course does not cover topics relevant to the M-20iB. If in need of the B robot, search for part number MTDM20IB)

Prerequisite: Previous experience or training in a related field involving mechanical disassembly, repair, and assembly of robots or machine tools. Students must be able to log into the Academy URL while in class, to access learning materials.

Each student will be required to acknowledge and sign our Lab Rigging Safety Policy, to acknowledge the safety requirements for each Mechanical Disassembly/Reassembly class. Anyone not willing to sign this policy, will not be permitted to participate in any lab, or hands on exercises.

Course Objectives:

• Diagnose robot mechanical problems to the component level
• Replace all mechanical components on the robot
• Perform adjustments on the robot
• Perform periodic maintenance on the mechanical unit

Recommended safety procedures are integrated into all training exercises. In addition to presentations and demonstrations, this course offers a series of lab exercises for the student to complete. Lab exercises relate directly to the classroom presentation and are intended to reinforce what the students has learned through actual hands-on experience.

Dress Code: Appropriate business casual attire is required to attend any class at FANUC training facilities. No shorts, leggings, tank tops, or open-toe shoes are permitted.

Safety shoes are required for attendees in all mechanical classes.
